About This Program

Our Outdoor Exploration program transforms Hangzhou's iconic landscapes into living classrooms. Students walk through UNESCO World Heritage sites like West Lake and the Grand Canal, discovering ecology, history, and culture along the way. Each route is designed with clear learning objectives and includes guided observation, field journaling, and group discussion. Suitable for ages 8-18, the program covers geography, environmental studies, and Chinese history through immersive outdoor experiences.

Learning Outcomes

Students will develop a deeper understanding of Hangzhou's rich cultural heritage through guided exploration and hands-on activities. Programs are designed to foster critical thinking, cross-cultural awareness, and collaborative learning — all aligned with international educational standards.
